Research Profile

  • Synthetic Ala-Glu-Asp-Gly tetrapeptide
  • Epithalamin fragment
  • Studied in telomerase expression models
  • Third-party purity tested
  • Research use only

Epithalon (Epitalon) is a synthetic tetrapeptide with the sequence Ala-Glu-Asp-Gly, derived from the polypeptide Epithalamin isolated from the pineal gland. Characterised in preclinical literature for its effects on telomerase expression in cultured cells. Supplied as lyophilised powder for in-vitro research use only.

The above describes how this compound is characterised in the published peer-reviewed literature. It is not a claim about effects in humans.

Laboratory Handling

Epithalon is supplied as a lyophilised (freeze-dried) powder in a sealed glass vial. For laboratory reconstitution, add the desired volume of diluent (typically bacteriostatic water) slowly down the side wall of the vial. Swirl gently until fully dissolved - do not vortex or shake. Store reconstituted solutions at 2–8 °C and use within 4–6 weeks.

Use our Reconstitution Volume Calculator to compute the resulting mg/ml concentration.

Purity & Verification

Every batch of Epithalon we supply is independently HPLC-verified by Janoshik Analytical. Where a Janoshik report has been issued for the current batch it is supplied with the order and carries a unique verification key that can be authenticated against Janoshik's records. Reported purity is consistently above 99%.

Latest Janoshik report for Epithalon 10mg · task #231381 · analysed 28 Sep 2026

This report is for the batch, not the size. Janoshik’s HPLC test measures what the compound is and how pure it is, and its quantification confirms the amount in the vial tested. Every size of Epithalon is filled from the same tested batch, so this 10mg report covers 20mg, 30mg and 50mg as well. The report supplied with your order carries a verification key you can check on Janoshik’s own site.
